An effective Close Protection requires first of all a suitable sensor for the risk to be covered. It is then necessary to determine how to transfer the alarm information , where and when to manage it !
It is then necessary to apply the adequate means of intervention.
Without an appropriate sensor, no effective alarm management can be envisaged and it remains an illusion of security, based on a non-efficient sensor for the risk to be covered.
CODINE for its part, is developing number of detectors with two detection thresholds. A first deterrent preventive local signaling is followed by an alarm signal sending if confirmed malice. This public witness is caught and implicitly involved in the security process just by his presence, to identify the offense early and thus curb the enthusiasm of potential malicious candidate while ensuring the continuity of the detection in case of communication breakdown with the remote signaling station.
THE CONCEPT OF SECURITY IN AN ARTISTIC ENVIRONMENT
Truly effective surveillance is never accomplished solely by human or material means, but by a combination of complementary, interwoven methods, as each site has its own special features.
The final choice depends on several criteria, including :
the location and type of site;
the constraints inherent in the site;
the risk;
the level of security required;
the human and other means required;
how long the site has to be protected;
the available budget.
The performance attained by our systems depends on the effectiveness with which the study of each site is performed and the experience of the designer
...and on the care taken in the installation.
Resulting from experience gained over the years, CODINE developed his concepts of PRO keeping in mind the following:
